Platinum Plus Auction
Ryder, I expect the next time we come to Memphis that your house is fully furnished with stuff from this auction. I think satellite #2 would look great in your dining room.
I wonder if the other half of that outfit Daniel stole is still hanging on that rack?
This depresses me. Is there anyway that we can confirm a brass pole for one of us. The Fat Italian Stallion, Jimmy, JT, and Lisa were in Night Trips in Tulsa, Ok and I think it was Jimmy who said something about Platinum and some cat at the next table began getting excited and revealing Memphis Platinum stories to us. It would seem fitting that at least something gets saved and I would be more than happy to pitch for something that contains enough nastiness for generations to come.
JT, don't you already have fractional ownership of one of those couches from that one time we didn't see you all night?
We certainly had some good times and stories from PP. I'll go ahead and set the bar at $100 towards a fund if you knuckleheads want to start a collection. Platinum does save lives and I would like to keep that memory alive.
Yeah I heard they were getting rid of the stuff... I want that sign. But why settle for the pole... when you can go straight to the source. Sorry, couldn't find anybody else right now, but you can keep looking at craigslist.
Speaking of which, what ever happened to that boy? He get a divorce after that trip to the Winterburger's place?
I'm not sure when it is. It says Saturday September 11th. That day does not exist. I know I can't make it Saturday morning. This morning there might have been a chance, but I have to get a project out by noon today so the chance is slim. If for some reason they test the 'god particle' again and this time it actually blows something up, I might make it, but the possibilities are slim. Got to finish drawing this Sweet Pepper's for the fine city of Slidell, LA.

It's funny you mention that. James and I were just talking about getting together a collection and asking Ryder to go down there.

No... he didn't get a divorce. I still talk to him every once in a while and he has a little boy named Parker (same name as my black lab).
As far as the auction pool is concerned, I'm in if we can treat the item like the Stanley Cup and each spend 24 hrs with it after our victory.
I will match up with Jimmie on this one. I guess it just comes down to Ryder's time and reasonably priced stripper junk.
Ryder already said he couldn't make it. So unless one of our semi-local readers is making the trip we are SOL.
Can't do it. I have all the PP memories I need stashed away in a secret place.
